July 2008 Staff Member of the Month

G.V.M.H. STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital recently announced that Junior S. Munsterman is G.V.M.H. Staff Member of the Month for July 2008.  Junior has been an employee of Golden Valley Memorial Hospital October 2, 2003.  He is a Physical Therapist in Rehab & Wellness. 
  
A fellow employee nominated Junior and had the following to say about him:
“Junior has minimal absences.  He was always pleasant and dependable when working as a tech in Rehab on the medical floor.  He is always positive with his attitude.

Junior house sits for co-workers when they had a family member that was ill.  Junior always smiles and he is soft spoken.  He has even been seen scraping ice off the windshields of co-worker’s cars to help them out.  He has been known to pay for lunches for those behind him in the lunch line.  He opens doors, offers to help carry heavy loads, and is always friendly.

Junior Munsterman always has a positive attitude.  He is also active in his church and drove the float for the GVMH Christmas parade.”

In being named Staff Member of the Month, Junior was given a boutonnière, a $100.00 gift certificate, and a special parking place for the month.  His name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital.  Junior is also one of twelve finalists for the 2008-2009 Staff Member of the Year award.
