Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) recognizes that women are so busy taking care of others that they often fail to slow down and take care of themselves. That’s why GVMH is now making it easier for women to receive the special care they deserve at the various stages of their lives. Our hospital and multi-specialty clinics offer a full range of medical services including specialized OB/GYN care to address the needs of women.

Enhancements such as evening mammography appointments are now available as a result of our very committed Women's Services Steering Committee. Our Women's Steering Committee includes 20 women from the community who meet every other month. The interactive meetings allow hospital leaders to inform the committee of what's new at GVMH as well as allow the women to provide feedback about services. These meetings are just one way for GVMH to truly listen to the needs of women.
