» Corn Muffin Challenge at Golden Valley Medical

Golden Valley Medical issued a corn bread challenge among its departments in support of the Samaritan Center.  Over the last few weeks two teams competed to collect the most corn muffin mix. The winning team raising a total of 1038 boxes were the "Corn Palace Queens," consisting of staff from the billing/data department, lab, housekeeping, accounting, and some of the hospital staff.  The total number of boxes collected was 2237. 
» Culinary Graduation at GVMH!
Congratulation to the graduates of the culinary academy! Cooks at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital graduated from Chef Don Miller’s Healthcare Culinary Academy on October 28th in a ceremony honoring each of the eighteen graduates.  Certified Executive Chef Ron Sabitini and Robin Gabl, a Personal Success Coach, from DM&A were on hand for the presentation. In order to successfully complete the Culinary Academy, the cooks have spent the past eighteen months enhancing their culinary skills, studying official chef terminology, and perfecting the recipes used at GVMH. more...

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has received statewide recognition for three marketing projects that GVMH produced this year to educate and inform community and area residents about their healthcare organization and its services.
