» GVMH Home Services Looks Back on 25 Years...
	February 2009 marks the 25-year anniversary of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) Home Services. In 1983, Golden Valley Memorial Hospital decided to add a skilled home health agency to their services, and negotiations were completed with Nevada City Hospital to purchase their satellite office, Clinton Home Health. more... » Business Office Hours at GVMH
In an effort to better serve our customers, the Business Office window in the Hospital will be open an extra half hour beginning Monday, January 26. The new hours will be 8 AM - 5 PM.
» GVMH Rehab and Wellness in Warsaw Will Close for Move
The GVMH Rehab and Wellness Center in Warsaw is moving into their new 3000 square foot space. They will close at noon on January 29 and reopen on February 2nd. The physician clinic will be open. » Wertz Named to the MHA Board of Trustees
	JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Randy S. Wertz, FACHE, chief executive officer of Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Mo., has been appointed to the Missouri Hospital Association Board of Trustees. His three-year term began Jan. 1. As a member of the MHA Board of Trustees, Wertz’s responsibilities include overseeing the administration of MHA and developing association policies. “We are pleased to have someone with Randy’s depth of experience assume this important leadership role,” said Marc D. 	Kathy Hill has joined the Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Foundation as executive director, replacing Karen Bullock, who retired in December 2008. Hill brings 20 years of experience in fundraising, fund development and grant writing to the Foundation director position. more...
» Team Captains Needed for the 2009 Diabetes Walk!
The 2009 Diabetes Walk will be held March 28 on the Downtown Square. The money raised will be used for individuals that are not able to pay for education, strips, or medication and will remain local. We are in need of team captain for this walk. If you are not interested in being a team captain, there are ways that you can still participate in the walk. » First Baby of 2009 at GVMH!
	Brad and Bobbie Phillips of Windsor delivered the first baby of 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. Gwenivere LaDawn Phillips was born on January 2 at 2:51 p.m. The baby girl weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 19 inches long. Welcoming their new sister is Trenton and Hunter Hughes and Landon Phillips. Maternal Grandparents are Bob Burson of Calhoun and Joan Rasmussen of Calhoun. Paternal Grandparents are Sherry Phillips of Gordo, AL and Wayne and Lori Phillips of Jacksonville, AL. more...
