» Emergency Signage Temporarily Moves to Hospital Main Entrance

Crews begin to move the Emergency signage to the main entrance at GVMH. The Outpatient/Emergency Department entrance will be closed until September for renovations. All emergency, outpatient and admitting traffic will use the hospital’s main entrance.  Admitting will be temporarily relocated to a portion of the current Business Office space.  Throughout the construction period, GVMH staff will be working to assure that care and service is provided with minimal inconvenience or confusion for patients and visitors.  When complete, renovations will enhance GVMH’s ability to provide quality care and service.  If you have any questions about the construction or renovations, please don’t hesitate to contact GVMH Administration at 660-890-7103. more...

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare recently began offering nerve conduction studies as part of the respiratory care department’s neurodiagnostic services.  The nerve conduction study stimulates specific nerves and records their ability to send the impulse to the muscle.  The study can show where there is a blockage of the nerve pathway. more...  
» First Time Mothers Receive "Baby Basics" Books from GVMH Foundation

Every first time mom experiences the nervous feeling of “What should I expect?” This is a natural concern and being well informed is the key to a healthy pregnancy.  The GVMH Foundation believes that it is important that all new moms be educated to ensure the health of moms and babies.  For this reason, the Foundation approved a $3000 grant for the purchase of books for first time mothers. more...
