Over 200 people walked in the 2010 Diabetes Walk held on March 27 at the GVMH Medical Plaza. Since that time Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores for food service have increased to the 95th percentile for the Press Ganey database, which means that GVMH ranked higher than 95 percent of other hospitals in the country for patient satisfaction in hospital food service. more... | |

| Community Blood Center (CBC) is the primary supplier of blood for local hospitals and has been serving Missouri and Kansas hospitals for almost 50 years. CBC needs to collect 580 pints of blood every day and over 140,000 pints annually to meet the needs of our local hospitals. Red blood cells must be used within 42 days.
