Room service is not just for hotels anymore. Golden Valley Memorial Hospital patients will soon experience room service during their stay. GVMH Food and Nutrition Services is pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, October 27, hotel-style room service will be available. » Scences from the "Fire and Ice" Gala

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation hosted, An Evening to Remember on October 3 at the Benson Center.   The evening started with a social hour and the opening of the silent auction as well as entertainment by Mr. Naz, an international magician.  Throughout the evening, those attending were treated to music by The Cambiano Trio. Chef Julie Greenwood, C.W.P.C, Sodexo, provided Chef gourmet cooking stations and buffet, and Valerie’s Photography was available for photos to commemorate the evening. more...

» GVMH Offers Treatment for Varicose Veins

Approximately 24 million people suffer from varicose veins, in the United States, and must go through the embarrassment of dealing with the quickly spreading condition. Golden Valley Memorial Hospital offers treatment for varicose veins. The Trivex System is a patented and clinically tested. It uses transilluminated powered phlebectotomy. This is, in simpler terms, a technique used with general or light anesthesia that brings “visual varicose vein removal.” This procedure, much like liposuction, allows you to accurately target the vein using an irrigated illuminator while a powered resector quickly ablates it and visually confirms the vein's removal. Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is pleased to offer Schlerotherapy for spider veins.  The newly developed, clinically tested procedure is available at GVMH in an outpatient setting. It takes traditional sclerotherapy a step further by applying tumescent (meaning making the tissue tight) anesthetic solution with a small pump designed for the procedure. more...
