Senior Fest is right around the corner! This year’s Senior Fest will be held on Thursday, September 15 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Benson Convention Center in Clinton. CODE along with the Henry County Sherriff’s Department will offer Prescription Take Back Day. To participate bring identification to verify that you are at least 18 years of age and that you reside at the address listed on the medications. You may bring in medication from anyone living within your household. Bring medications in their original packaging from the pharmacy. Medications not in their original packaging will take longer to process and may be subject to further inspection. You may bring in any medication from a licensed pharmacist, including controlled substances, liquid containing medications, prescription inhalers, and medicated ointments or patches. more... |

During his surgical residency, he served as resident liaison to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons national board in 2008-2010. In addition, Dr. Womack served as representative to the resident oversight committee and to the Flint Oak total joint conference. | » GVMH Rehab and Wellness to hold a Medical Equipment Drive | |

To celebrate National Rehab Week, GVMH Rehab and Wellness wants to give back to our community! We will be holding a durable medical equipment drive September 19-23, 2011. Donations can include walkers, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, and other assistive equipment such as reachers, shower benches, grab bars, gait belts, or post-surgery ice machines. Donations can be dropped off at GVMH Rehab and Wellness, 1200 E. Ohio Street in Clinton or 1771 Commercial Street in Warsaw. GVMH Rehab and Wellness will be giving all donations to West-Central Independent Living Services (WILS) for re-distribution to patients in need of this equipment. WILS is located in Warrensburg and serves the counties of Henry, Benton, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, and Saline.
