Medication Safety is among the greatest concerns facing healthcare providers today.  Golden Valley Memorial Hospital has fully implemented the new McKesson AcuDose-Rx automated medication dispensing system to put nurses and pharmacists in complete control of all critical aspects when accessing patient medications. 

The AcuDose-Rx is an automated, unit-based cabinet that dispenses, stores and tracks narcotics, floorstock and PRN (as needed) medications in patient care areas.  AcuDose-Rx allows the user to utilize touch screens to activate a variety of cabinet drawer and pocket types for the dispensing, returning and restocking of medication.
