Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
Life has a strange way of surprising you when least expect it. Examples of this phenomenon are accidents, illnesses and injuries. For the most part, we live our lives worry free, never stopping to consider “What if?” In all reality, life happens and we need to prepare ourselves for the decisions that come with it. Have you thought about how your healthcare wishes would be carried out if you were unable to make those decisions on your own? As part of National Healthcare Decisions Day, local agencies are coming together to provide an opportunity for questions regarding advance care directives. As part of this service, copies of the directives will be provided, as well as a notary, who will be available to finalize your wishes. Participating agencies include: Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Twin Lakes Hospice and Golden Living Center -Westwood. Please join us on April 16th in the Friends Room at Henry County Library from 10:00 a.m.until 2:00p.m. This would be a great opportunity to answer any questions, ease any fears and document your wishes so that your loved one’s are able to carry them out with certainty.
