GVMH Lab Receives New Equipment

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Laboratory recently purchased a Vitros 5,1 FS Chemistry System.  Some of the Chemistry tests performed on this new analyzer are Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, Glucose, and Iron/Total Iron Binding Capacities.  The new analyzer will allow the lab to perform additional tests in house that would normally be sent to a reference laboratory.  These tests include Glycosylated Hemoglobin, Vitamin B12, and Folate.  The Laboratory staff is excited about these testing capabilities.
