Golden Valley Medical - Warsaw is Growing: Cardiac Rehab

Golden Valley Medical-Warsaw will soon begin another construction project to add space to the current facility.  Even though the current facility has been open less than one year, GVMH Rehab & Wellness in Warsaw has outgrown its space. There has been great community response and utilization of GVMH Rehab & Wellness in Warsaw, particularly Cardiac Rehab and Physical Therapy.  The initial plan for the Rehab & Wellness facility did not include Cardiac Rehab Services.  The purchase of a new telemetry system for the hospital’s Cardiac Rehab program and an on-site cardiologist at the Warsaw facility makes it possible to provide Cardiac Rehab services in Warsaw.  Patient utilization of both Cardiac Rehab and Physical Therapy services has exceeded expectation and GVMH attributes much of the success to the great staff.  Many of the Warsaw Rehab Staff are from and live in Warsaw, which creates a strong tie to the community.

The planned new addition will be around 3,500 square feet and will attach to the back, west side, of the current building.  The square footage will double the current Rehab and Wellness space and meet current patient care needs and allow for continued growth.  The goal is to complete the new space in early 2009.  If you would like more information about Rehab & Wellness services in Warsaw call 428-1146.
