Scenes from the 2nd Annual Baby Shower
Over 100 people came out for Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare’s second annual Baby Shower on Tuesday, October 28th .The event was held for new parents, expectant parents, and individuals planning a pregnancy. Informational booths were provided to help parents know what to expect before, during and after the birth of a baby.
New parents and those who are planning to become parents were eligible to win the Grand Prize, “Baby on the Go” drawing donated by the GVMH Foundation. Congratulations to Jennifer Hess who won the Grand Prize drawing.
The Clinton Head Start had a table with information and prizes.
GVMH Nutrition and Dietectics offered a gift basket and information on eating healthy before, during and after pregnancy.
Karen Bullock, Foundation Director of GVMH, reads to a few little ones at the Born to Read booth. Older children were occupied by this booth while mom and dad looked at other information booths.
