Open House for New GVMH Stereotactic Breast Biopsy

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare would like to announce the completion of the Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Suite in Radiology. Please join us for an open house on July 2 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the radiology department.  This new service will begin in July replacing the current mobile unit. The stereotactic biopsy procedure is a minimally invasive and highly accurate.  It helps physicians locate breast abnormalities and obtain tissue samples for diagnosis. The procedure has been used increasingly in the last several years and is rapidly replacing the open or surgical biopsy as the technique of choice.
