Couple Cycling Across America Make a Stop at the "Heart of Cycling" Clinic

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), Henry County CHART and the Tour of Missouri Local Organizing Committee offers Heart of Cycling Clinic every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Registrations are still being accepted. This program is designed to increase cardiac health awareness through cycling. If you are interested in a beginning cycling program, this clinic is for you! The facilitator for this program is Sam Baugh, local cyclist. The weekly sessions include topics to help cyclists get started and get the most of their cycling experience.

Two visitors attended the Heart of Cycling Clinic on Tuesday evening. Mike & Sharon Norton of Vancouver, Washington have been married 30 years and both turn 50 this year. To celebrate the occasion they are riding across America. Their Journey from Delaware to Oregon included the Katy Trail. At the end of the trail they learned about the Heart of Cycling Clinic and decided to drop in. After a night of camping at the Henry County Fairgrounds they were on their way.
