Sunrise Optimist and GVMH to Offer "Heart of Cycling" to Youth

Sunrise Optimist and Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) are preparing for a 4-week Heart of Cycling for Kids cycling clinic.  The clinic is scheduled, Tuesdays, May 12-June 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Clinton Community Center.  It is designed for children ages 4th through 6th grade, to increase healthy cycling.   The facilitator for this program is Sam Baugh, local cyclist.  The weekly sessions will include topics to help young cyclists get the most of their cycling experience. Topics include safety, changing a flat, taking care of your bike, and cycling for exercise. A Saturday Ride is planned for June 6.  Parents are encouraged to attend classes and take the Saturday ride with their children.
