Cynthia Brouk Wins 2010 Successful Hospital Food Service Departmental Transformation Award

Cynthia Brouk, RD, LD, MBA, Director of Food and Nutrition Services and her team from Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri, received the 2010 Successful Departmental Transformation Award at the 5th Annual Good to Best Conference. Cynthia was presented with a certificate and gold medal for this team’s special achievement. The Good to Best Conference, which took place March 12 – 14, 2010 at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego, California, is an annual meeting of healthcare food service directors, operators, executive chefs, and industry leaders.
The Successful Hospital Food Service Department Transformation Award is presented each year to the hospital Food Service Department that significantly improves their quality and service scores and implements the hotel room service model at the same time.
