Winner of the 2010 Zeta Gilvin Scholarship

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare presented the Zeta Gilvin Scholarship to Dillon Mothersbaugh at the Nurse’s Tea on May 12 during National Nurse’s Week. The scholarship is made available each year by the generous donations of the family of Zeta Gilvin, her many friends, and from fund-raising activities conducted by the Nursing Department at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. Zeta Gilvin was a Registered Nurse at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare for 19 years and was a surgical nurse at the time of her untimely death. 

“Dillon has many of the same traits as that of Zeta Gilvin,” Mark Mattes, Assistant Administrator/Patient Care Services said at the ceremony. “He is a hard worker and is dedicated to making the lives of others better.” Dillon will be attending State Fair Community College’s radiology program. Dillon has been involved in many community and school activities  while achieving the Cardinal Honor Roll and Academic Excellence all four years of high school. Dillon is the son of Marvin and Donna Mothersbaugh.
