Juilus and Sally Wall Chosen as Honorary Chairs for GVMH Foundation Gala

Julius and Sally Wall, community leaders and long time supporters of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has been named Honorary Chairs of the 2011 Evening to Remember. According to David Mills, GVMH Foundation Chairman, the Walls were selected “because their commitment to this community is amazing. It is an honor to have them serve in this capacity for the event.” The Evening to Remember is the Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support the programs and services of GVMH.
The Walls accepted the invitation of being Honorary Chairs at this year’s gala “with great pleasure. I have been a firm believer and supporter of the care GVMH provides for this region. It is an essential part of our community and it is my hope that this year’s event will raise more dollars to support GVMH‘s work,” said Mr. Wall. Sally mentioned that “this event goes beyond donating funds. It helps raise awareness of the need to maintain excellent healthcare facilities for the Golden Valley. Our neighbors and friends benefit from many of the services, programs and modern equipment we have here.”
Sally has served as a member of the GVMH Board of Directors from 1996 to 2006, and has held a four year term on the Foundation Board. She is a lifetime member of the Auxiliary and has been actively volunteering at GVMH for 24 years. Sally also served on the committee for the first two Evening to Remember events.
Along with the honorary chairs, several committee and Foundation board members are joining together to plan this event. The Foundation is fortunate to have such an amazing group of individuals from the community taking their time to make this an outstanding evening. “We are extremely excited about this year’s Evening to Remember. I am confident that the generous spirit of the people of the Golden Valley will make the event a huge success, says Kathy Hill, GVMH Foundation Director.
