Dr. Jeffry Dressander Receives Board Certification

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital and Physician Clinics would like to announce that Dr. Jeffry Dressander has fulfilled all requirements for certification and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  Certification by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) means that Dr. Dressander met the specified educational, evaluation, and examination requirements of the Board. In order to be allowed to begin the process of becoming ABOS certified, a surgeon must be a graduate of an accredited 4 year medical school and have successfully completed a minimum of a 5 year accredited orthopedic residency program in the US or Canada, and have appropriate yearly documentation from the program director. The final 24 months of the training must be obtained in a single program. Dr. Dressander began his practice at Golden Valley Medical-Clinton in October 2005.
