GVMH Auxiliary Scholarship Winners are Announced!

The winners of the GVMH Auxiliary Scholarship are (L to R) Andy Cummings, Marlys Chapman, Sarah Bush, Ashley Willett, Casey Mothersbaugh and Aaron Dicket.

GVMH starts accepting applications for the Auxiliary Scholarship in January each year. We award (5) scholarships as follows: (2) graduating seniors, (2) GVMH employees and (1) renewable. This year we had a family do a scholarship in memory of their mother, who was a volunteer, so we were able to do the sixth one. To be considered for the graduating senior scholarship, the applicant must be graduating from a Henry County high school (Clinton, Sherwood, Windsor, Lakeland, Calhoun or Montrose). To be considered for the GVMH employee scholarship, you must be a current, active employee of GVMH. Ranae Walrath is chairperson of the Scholarship Committee and she is very good at keeping the process very fair and equal. She has a criteria that she follows and she only votes if there is a tie.
