Dr. Dailey Presents Program in March About Hospice

Hospice care is for people who are nearing the end of their lives and is designed to relieve or decrease pain, or other symptoms, and provide as much quality time as possible with family and friends. Join Dr. Bill Dailey Wednesday, March 17 at 12:00 noon at the Windsor Senior Center as he presents,  “What You Need to Know About Hospice Care”. During this free program you can learn about end of life care and have your questions answered by Dr. Dailey.  For more information about this program call 660-647-2147. GVMH Foundation Diabetes Walk Assists Patients

Stefanie Fiss of Lowry City knows first hand about how the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation assists patients.  Stefanie has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her two pregnancies. Gestational diabetes is diagnosed in pregnant women around 28 weeks who have high blood sugar levels during their pregnancy.  If left untreated it could harm the baby.
