Description:
Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic
Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton, Missouri has an opening for a full-time, motivated NP to join our orthopedic practice. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in surgery
Conducting inpatient rounds
See follow-up patients in the office
Assist with procedures
Suture removal
Triaging calls for orthopedic patients
Treatment of emergency room patients (closed reductions)
Orthopedic consults and evaluations
Pre-operative and post-operative care
Handle ER call coverage
Casting and splinting
Candidates must possess relevant credentials. Experience in orthopedics is highly preferred. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Must be able to meet Missouri State licensing requirements as well as the ability to handle stressful situations and extended hours.
