Description:
JOB TITLE: RN (Registered Nurse) ** $2500.00 sign on bonus with a 1 year commitment for full time positions.
DEPARTMENT: Intensive Care Unit
SHIFT: 7 pm – 7 am (Every other weekend required)
STATUS: 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week)(2 openings)
0.6 FTE (24 hours per week)
OPENING DATE: August 6, 2009
RISK EXPOSURE: High (Category I)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
2. Current Missouri RN license
3. Current ACLS & PALS certification
4. CPR certified
5. Previous ICU nursing experience helpful
6. Ability to work and communicate with peers, patients, and patient family
7. Able to access, analyze, and report appropriately with physician
8. Must be willing to float to other areas as needed
9. Ability to fulfill position responsibilities
10. Ability to perform under stress
11. Previous ICU experience and Telemetry training desired
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, walking, standing, reaching, heavy to moderate lifting, good body mechanics and posture, good writing and listening skills, ability to handle high level of activity for prolonged periods of time and must be able to exert the physical activity necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the position. Must be able to hear sufficiently and speak clearly.
