JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Golden Valley Medical-Clinton
SHIFT: 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday thru Friday
STATUS: 1) PRN
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Ability to multi-task
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Medical Assisting experience is preferred
5. Knowledge of the anatomy and medical terminology also preferred
6. Position will require periods of standing. Individual must be have a team player attitude and have a willingness to work in other areas of the clinic from time to time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires prolonged periods of standing and being on your feet. Mostly sedentary work requiring some reaching, lifting, bending, walking, listening and must be able to exert the physical activity necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the position. Must be able to hear sufficiently, speak clearly, handle stress of multiple tasks.
