ENDOSCOPY

The Endoscopy Department of Golden Valley Memorial Hospital provides diagnostic, endoscopy services for both inpatients and outpatients. New, state of the art, Fujinon endoscopes are utilized for gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy procedures. Services are provided for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients by four local physicians and visiting pulmonologists. The unit is staffed with highly trained, experienced RNs. Each nurse is ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) certified for patient safety and has passed a Procedural Sedation competency for assuring patient comfort.
