Outpatient psychiatry services at GVMH are available for patients age 18-65 to create better access and continuity of care for patients. Treatment plans will be developed to fit each patient’s individual health needs in order to help find a path to recovery. Patients will be treated for various mental health diagnoses including:

About the Psychiatrist

Dr. Aneel Ursani graduated medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He also received bachelor degrees in molecular and cell biology and psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the GVMH team, Dr. Ursani was a resident physician in the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
