Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Welcomes Two New Hospitalists

Clinton, Mo. – (July 29, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to introduce two new hospitalists, Dr. Jose Davis and Dr. Stephen Malutich.

As a hospitalist, Dr. Davis and Dr. Malutich will be the providers who see patients in the hospital setting. These doctors often see patients multiple times a day as they work alongside the primary care physician and other specialists to determine the proper diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Davis attended medical school at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India. While in India, he practiced as a resident medical officer in two hospitals. Dr. Davis then began an internal medicine residency with Western Reserve Health Education in Youngstown, Ohio. Most recently, he was an internal medicine resident for Northside Regional Medical Center, also in Ohio.

Dr. Malutich is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine with a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. He also received a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from West Virginia University. Prior to joining GVMH, Dr. Malutich was a walk-in clinic physician and outpatient clinic resident physician at the Royal Palm Medical Center in Florida. He was also a resident physician during his internal medicine residency at the Wellington Regional Medical Center, also located in Florida.

“Dr. Davis and Dr. Malutich are both exceptional physicians and we are excited to add them to the team,” said Kyle Adkins, chief operating officer at GVMH. “The addition of two hospitalists will help our staff better understand the needs of our patients and provide quality care in a timely manner.”

Both hospitalists will begin seeing patients at the hospital in August.
