Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Celebrates Home Care and Hospice Month

Clinton, Mo. – (Nov. 27, 2019) – During November, the home care and hospice community honors the millions of nurses, home care aides, therapists and social workers who make a remarkable difference for the patients and families they serve. These caregivers play a central role in our healthcare system and in homes across the nation.

For more than 30 years, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has participated in the signing of a proclamation by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice and Clinton Mayor Greg Lowe to declare November as National Home Care Month to recognize the efforts of all home health and hospice services in Missouri and across the nation.

“We are proud to be part of this ongoing tradition to support home health and hospice services,” said Rachel Boyles, executive director of home based and therapy services at GVMH. “Our home health and hospice teams are dedicated to delivering high quality and compassionate healthcare services to our communities to help families stay together and provide greater health, dignity and comfort to our patients.”
