Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare West Entrance Closed Due to Road Construction

Clinton, Mo. – (May 20, 2020) – Currently, the west entrance at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is closed due to road construction on Gaines Drive. The City of Clinton is working to improve the road with new pavement, guttering, ditching and more. Once completed, the city crew will be relocating the west entrance of GVMH a little further north, closer to Compass Health Network, to increase the distance between the turn in and the stoplight at the corner of Highway 7 and Highway 13. This will improve traffic flow and increase vehicle safety.

While the road is under construction, use the right in/right out entrance off of Highway 7, or enter off of Golden Drive, across from Tracker Marine and Schreiber Foods to visit GVMH.

“We anticipate the construction will last for a few weeks,” said Kyle Adkins, chief operating officer at GVMH. “This is a great upgrade for GVMH and our community as everyone sees this area when they drive into town. You can also rest assured that our ambulances will still be able to get in and out just as quickly during the construction to serve our patients and the community.”
