Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Offers Transportation Assistance

Clinton, Mo. – (Feb. 12, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has partnered with HealthTran, OATS and ModivCare to provide access to transportation for healthcare appointments.

The HealthTran program launched in January 2021 by the Missouri Rural Health Association to expand rural healthcare transportation opportunities. HealthTran features a simple, efficient scheduling process and can provide transportation to and from any GVMH location for any GVMH service. OATS Transit has a long-standing partnership with GVMH to provide low-cost transportation for patients. The OATS Transit program is available to drop off or pick up patients at any GVMH facility. To schedule a ride with OATS Transit, call 660.827.2611 or 800.276.6287.

ModivCare is available for patients who may be eligible for transportation benefits through Medicaid. ModivCare serves a broad range of people and focuses on providing transportation that meets the needs of each patient.  To schedule a ride with ModivCare, call 866.269.5927.
