Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Selected as High Throughput Vaccinator

Clinton, Mo. – (Feb. 1, 2021) – The State of Missouri announced today that Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has been selected as a high throughput vaccinator as part of Missouri’s new vaccine distribution plan.

GVMH is scheduled to receive additional vaccine doses the week of February 8 and February 22, to accommodate the first-dose vaccine appointments already scheduled and beyond.

“We are proud to have been named one of the Missouri organizations that is capable of rapidly administering community vaccination efforts on a large scale,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. “Starting next week, we will have a guaranteed steady supply of COVID-19 vaccines to administer to Missouri residents. Our vaccine clinic is extremely efficient. We schedule appointments for people to receive their shot so we can get them through the process quickly, while enabling us to immunize as many people as possible.”

Currently, GVMH is finalizing its plans for future vaccine clinics and will communicate the scheduling process as soon as possible. Please watch their website at gvmh.org, Facebook page @chooseGVMH, the Clinton Daily Democrat and KDKD radio.
