Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation Participating in Give Ozarks Day

Clinton, Mo. – (March 10, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation is participating in Give Ozarks Day, an online “giving day” for nonprofit agency partners to help raise operating funds that have been lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Give Ozarks Day is March 24 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and will be powered by CauseMomentum.org. As part of the event, a winner of a $5,000 random prize drawing will be announced at the beginning of each hour, starting at 8 a.m.

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation is joining the event to help Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) administer the COVID-19 vaccine to as many Missouri residents as possible.

Since the vaccine has become available, GVMH has hosted 16 vaccine clinics, provided more than 6,800 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and has additional clinics planned. All COVID-19 vaccines at GVMH are free.

Donations from Give Ozarks Day will help GVMH offset the cost for individuals to receive the vaccine, assist with expenses to host vaccine clinics and cover labor costs for healthcare workers and staff to work at the vaccine clinics.

“To support GVMH during Give Ozarks Day on March 24, go to CauseMomentum.org and look for our project titled ‘Your Best Shot’,” said Sarah Duncan, Foundation Director. “There are numerous donation levels to select from and we sincerely appreciate any support provided.”
