Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Hosting COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Adolescents 12-17 Years of Age

Clinton, Mo. – (June 30, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare will be hosting a vaccine clinic for 12-17 year olds on Wednesday, July 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at its Outpatient Treatment Center.

The Pfizer-BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine that has been authorized by the FDA for use is a multi-dose vaccine administered through a shot. The second dose is given 21 days later. Participants must get both shots as scheduled for the vaccine to be effective. GVMH will provide an appointment date and time for the second dose at the vaccine clinic. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The vaccine is free.
