Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Takes Precautions at Warsaw Clinic

Clinton, Mo. – (July 16, 2021) – As a precaution, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has quarantined and isolated some of its staff at its Warsaw clinic due to the COVID-19 virus.

No patients were exposed to COVID-19 and it is safe to go to the Warsaw Clinic as GVMH continues to take every preventative measure necessary to ensure the safety for patients, visitors, staff and the community. This includes:

  • Screening patients and visitors for symptoms prior to entering
  • Requiring staff, patients and visitors to wear masks
  • Allowing one support person per patient
  • Designating waiting areas between sick and well patients, depending on symptoms and types of visits
  • Utilizing social distancing
  • Cleaning our facilities per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocol

“This is an example of why it is extremely important to get a COVID-19 vaccine,” said Christine Faulconer, Director of Quality and Risk at GVMH. “Missouri is seeing a huge surge in COVID-19 cases and the Delta variant is more contagious and spreads easily. We strongly encourage you to get a COVID-19 vaccine if you have not already. We are offering free vaccines by appointment at our Clinton Clinic Monday-Friday. Call 660.890.7300 to schedule an appointment.”
