Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Holds Annual Employee Banquet

Clinton, Mo. – (April 21, 2022) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) recently held its annual Employee Banquet to show its appreciation for staff and their dedication throughout the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

The event included a dinner, special program, customer service awards and a service award, as well as awards for Employee of the Year and Leader of the Year.

This year, Megan Skaggs was selected as Employee of the Year. Skaggs was one of 12 Staff Members of the Month eligible for the 2021-2022 Employee of the Year award. She has been an employee of GVMH since May 2006 and currently works as Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Surgery Department.

According to Skagg’s supervisor, Shandelle Fibrow, Director of Surgical Services, “Megan truly exemplifies what it means to be a hardworking and dedicated employee as well as an exceptional nurse. She exhibits extraordinary compassion and friendliness to patients and their families every day. Not only does she go above and beyond to provide our patients the absolute best care, she extends that gratitude and consideration to her fellow co-workers. It is an absolute honor to get to work alongside Megan every day. Congratulations, Megan! So well deserved!”

Brandon Crispi was recognized as the Leader of the Year. Crispi has been an employee of GVMH since May 2012 and currently works as the Director of Emergency Services.

According to Crispi’s supervisor, Lynnette Hayes, Chief Nursing Officer, “Brandon accepted the Emergency Services Director role in March 2020, around the time COVID-19 hit our community. Over the past two years, Brandon’s leadership blazed a new path forward during a time where the path was riddled with unknowns. He has worked shoulder to shoulder with the Emergency Department team caring for patients, cleaning rooms, emptying trash, doing anything and everything needed to support staff and patients. Brandon’s leadership has been unwavering and I am thrilled for him to receive this well-deserved recognition.”
