Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation Capital Campaign for Radiation Oncology Facility Continues

Clinton, MO. – (Nov. 10, 2022) – The Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that its capital campaign to bring radiation oncology services to Clinton and the surrounding communities is well underway. To date, the Foundation has raised more than $6 million towards its $7 million philanthropic goal to support the construction of a radiation oncology facility close to the Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) main campus in Clinton.

“Every year, we diagnose nearly 300 new patients with cancer. That is almost one person per day,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “Beyond those diagnosed here, many others are diagnosed at other healthcare facilities in our region. We feel strongly that all of these individuals deserve the opportunity to be cared for by providers they know and trust, at a state-of-the-art facility, without the burden of traveling far from home.”

“With your help, we can bring this vital service, and hope, to our communities,” said Sarah Duncan, Foundation Director.
