At Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), we have been working meticulously around the clock over the past few months to protect our patients, staff and communities from COVID-19. And now, we need your help.
On behalf of the providers at GVMH, we are asking you to join the fight and take all the necessary precautions to keep yourself, your family and others safe. This includes:
Even if you do not have any symptoms, you could be a carrier and transmit COVID-19 to others. With the growing number of positive cases in Henry County and the surrounding areas, it is more important than ever that we all work together.
As medical experts, we base our decisions on experience and science, and we can tell you that using a face covering and social distancing are the most effective things we can all do to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
We ask you to think about the people that mean the most to you … your husband or wife and children. Or your grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins? What about your best friend, fishing partner, hair stylist, mechanic and neighbors? It seems that wearing a mask is just a small inconvenience if you can protect their health, and potentially their life.
Please join us in our Wearing is Caring campaign to protect yourself and others as we battle COVID-19. Together, we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Dr. Joseph Myers, MD
