Autism Evaluations Using ADOS

Autism Evaluations Using ADOS

If you have concerns about your child’s development, communication or behavior, our team offers specialized autism evaluations using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

The ADOS is a play-based, evidence-based assessment tool used to help diagnose autism in children and adolescents. It is considered the most reliable clinical tool for identifying autism across a range of ages, developmental levels and language abilities.

During an evaluation, our Pediatrician will guide your child through structured activities designed to observe social interaction, communication, play and behavior. These activities may look like games or conversations, but they provide important insights into how your child engages with the world.

After the evaluation, we will review the results with you, provide a diagnosis if appropriate and discuss next steps. This may include therapy referrals, educational resources or additional developmental services, all personalized to your child’s needs.
