Supporting Our Communities

At the heart of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is our team. Our employees are not only skilled professionals; they are neighbors, friends and  active members of our communities. Our culture is what attracts top talent and builds lasting relationships with our patients and their families.

As the region’s largest employer, GVMH is proud to serve not only as a leading healthcare provider, but also as a committed community partner. We actively support the people, schools, businesses and organizations that make our area strong — because when our communities thrive, we all thrive.

Through a variety of initiatives, we promote health, education and well-being across our region. From health fairs and wellness screenings to career outreach events that inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals, we are deeply invested in improving lives and creating opportunities for those we serve.

GVMH is deeply invested in advancing the overall health and quality of life for every individual we serve. Through a variety of community outreach programs, we actively address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) by helping people access healthy food, transportation, education, preventive health services and more. From providing free health screenings and financial assistance to offering vaccination clinics and educational events, we work daily to remove barriers and connect people with the care and resources they need.

We also recognize that healthy communities depend on strong local economies. As a major employer and healthcare provider, we help attract and retain businesses by ensuring access to high-quality medical services, contributing to workforce stability and participating in local development initiatives. Our investments in infrastructure, partnerships and programs have a ripple effect — creating jobs, boosting local commerce and enhancing the overall vitality of the communities we serve.

With locations in Clinton, Osceola, Warsaw and Windsor, GVMH is proud to deliver accessible, quality care to patients across a wide geographic area. We are deeply committed to serving not just our site locations, but also the many neighboring towns and rural areas that depend on us for care and support. Whether through outreach, partnerships or direct services, our team works hard to meet people where they are and ensure that no community is left behind.

We believe lasting change comes from listening and collaboration. That is why we engage directly with the people we serve through our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), as well as our Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) program. This process helps us identify and prioritize local health needs, reduce disparities and expand access to essential services.

Partnerships are at the heart of what we do. As a proud participant in the Transformation of Rural Community Health (ToRCH) initiative, we collaborate with five other Missouri hospitals, primary care and behavioral health clinics and community-based organizations to create a comprehensive, coordinated approach to care.

The ToRCH model, supported by Missouri’s Medicaid program (MO HealthNet), allows rural hospitals like GVMH to take a leading role in addressing social needs that influence health outcomes. By bridging gaps in care, strengthening community partnerships, and unlocking new funding opportunities, we are proud to serve as a health improvement hub for the region.

What the Golden Standard of Care Means to Our Patients

At Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, the Golden Standard of Care means putting you first. From your very first visit, you will experience the difference — a team that listens, respects your needs and provides compassionate, personalized care every step of the way.

Our patients consistently tell us the most important part of GVMH is our people — and we could not agree more. That is why we have built a culture where care goes beyond treatment. We take the time to build real relationships, offer clear communication and support your healthcare journey with expertise, empathy and heart.
