Clinton, MO. – (Sept. 18, 2025) – Aften Anderson, MD, a Pediatrician at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), has earned certification in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) after completing specialized training at the in Columbia, MO.
ADOS is a research-based assessment tool widely regarded as the gold standard for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder. With this certification, Anderson is now qualified to provide comprehensive autism evaluations, diagnoses and treatment for children and teens ages 2 to 18. With this certification, GVMH can now offer enhanced diagnostic services locally, reducing the need for families to travel or face extended wait times at specialty centers.
