Clinton, MO – (July 27, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has been recognized by the Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MO PQC), in partnership with the Missouri Hospital Association, for achieving the MO PQC Stars designation.
This designation reflects the commitment of the GVMH Obstetrics team to advancing maternal safety and improving outcomes for mothers across Missouri. MO PQC Stars status is awarded to hospitals that meet rigorous benchmarks in quality improvement engagement, data submission and implementation of evidence-based care practices.
As part of this recognition, GVMH will receive a stipend to support ongoing quality improvement efforts and sustain progress within its obstetrics program. This achievement reinforces the organization’s role in advancing maternal and infant health across the region while supporting statewide efforts to reduce severe maternal morbidity and mortality.
“Earning the MO PQC Stars designation reflects our team’s commitment to advancing maternal safety and providing high-quality care for the patients and families we serve,” said Lynnette Hayes, Chief Nursing Officer at GVMH. “This recognition highlights the dedication of our providers and staff to improving outcomes for mothers and families in our community through evidence-based care and continuous improvement.”
