Clinton, MO. – Sept. 4, 2025 – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is pleased to welcome Melissa Journot, DPM, AACFAS, Podiatrist.
Journot specializes in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions, with expertise in sports medicine, reconstructive surgery and comprehensive podiatric care. She brings a strong clinical background, advanced training and a commitment to helping patients improve mobility and quality of life.
She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. She also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
Journot is board certified by the American Academy of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She currently serves as vice president on the board of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
