Clinton, MO. – (Oct. 1, 2025) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is excited to introduce Dillon Gasper, MD, who joins the Surgery team with a commitment to excellent patient care.
Gasper is a board-certified General Surgeon with extensive training in minimally invasive surgery. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ where he performed more than 1,200 major cases, specializing in minimally invasive techniques.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA, graduating from the Targeted Rural Underserved Student Track (TRUST). Gasper also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies from Baylor University in McLennan, TX where he graduated magna cum laude.
Gasper recently completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and bariatrics at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, NE. His fellowship focused on robotic, laparoscopic and open surgical procedures, including complex hernia repair and foregut surgery.
During residency, Gasper served as Surgical Simulation Chief Resident, developing an advanced curriculum for laparoscopic training and complex hernia repair techniques. He has also completed specialized training in bariatric and metabolic surgery and has received multiple awards, including first place at the Surgical Jeopardy competition hosted by the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
