
Clinton, MO – (May 4, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) recently hosted its annual Auxiliary Banquet to recognize the dedication and service of its volunteers over the past year.
The event included lunch, service award presentations, recognition of the Auxiliary Volunteer of the Year and the presentation of GVMH Auxiliary scholarships to students and employees pursuing careers in healthcare.
GVMH is proud to recognize Lila Beland as the 2026 Auxiliary Volunteer of the Year. Beland has volunteered at GVMH since 1998, offering nearly three decades of faithful service to the hospital and community. She has generously served on the Auxiliary Board as Fundraising and Event Chair, bringing care, organization and heartfelt dedication to every project she supports. Her joyful presence, leadership and unwavering commitment continue to make a lasting difference at GVMH.
Through the generosity and dedication of its volunteers, the GVMH Auxiliary also presented a $40,000 donation to support patient care and services at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare.
Auxiliary scholarships were awarded to local high school seniors Aidan Jones, Colton Manning and Brie Dailey, all of whom plan to pursue careers in healthcare.
In addition, the 2026 GVMH Auxiliary Employee Scholarships were awarded to Chelsea Rice and Amber Short, who are continuing their education while serving GVMH patients and teams.
