Clinton, MO. – (Mar. 12, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to announce the launch of its new Mobile Mammo RV, a fully equipped, state-of-the-art mobile mammography unit offering advanced 3D mammograms, the highest level of breast imaging technology available, designed to bring high-quality breast cancer screenings directly to women throughout the region.
Breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers among women in Missouri. Early detection remains the key to survival, yet for many women, long travel distances, time away from work and transportation costs can create significant barriers to routine screenings. The Mobile Mammo RV was created to remove those barriers.
“The Mobile Mammo RV allows us to meet women where they are,” said Rachel Boyles, Chief Ancillary Officer at GVMH. “By bringing screenings closer to home, we are providing peace of mind, education and early detection, and ultimately saving lives. We are driving change — one mile, one mammogram and one woman at a time.”
Designed with patient comfort, privacy and convenience in mind, the Mobile Mammo RV delivers the same high standard of care found within the walls at GVMH, including advanced 3D mammography technology, now on wheels. The unit will travel throughout the region, expanding access to preventive care in underserved and rural communities.
The Mobile Mammo RV was made possible by the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation and through the generosity of the Patterson Family Foundation and the George R. Lilleston Estate. Their support played a vital role in bringing this innovative resource to life and ensuring women have access to essential breast cancer screenings.
