
Clinton, MO. – (August 24, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) announces Rachel Quick, BSN, RN, has been named Director of the Emergency Department.
Quick began her career at GVMH as a safety-sitter and, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri, joined the nursing team as a Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Nurse. She has since advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Emergency Department Registered Nurse and House Supervisor, demonstrating strong leadership and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
In her new role, Quick will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, providing leadership to clinical and support staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. She will be responsible for department operations, staff development, quality improvement initiatives and advancing emergency care services to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the communities GVMH serves.
Quick will work closely with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to enhance emergency services, improve patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety, collaboration and excellence.
