Clinton, MO. – (Dec. 30, 2025) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is proud to welcome Rochelle Hern, RN, as its new Director of Emergency Services.
In her role, Hern will be responsible for nursing care, financial and service outcomes and human resources within Emergency Services. She will oversee performance improvement, infection control practices and safety measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Hern will also collaborate with medical and executive staff to support the organization’s strategic goals.
Hern brings more than six years of experience in critical acute care settings, including extensive work in emergency departments and medical-surgical units at critical access hospitals. Her background includes experience as a Charge Nurse, Float Nurse and Emergency Department Registered Nurse. In these roles, she provided comprehensive patient care, coordinated communication with interdisciplinary teams, supervised support staff and managed critical drips, respiratory support and patient assessments. Prior to entering the nursing profession, Hern gained several years of leadership and office management experience, strengthening her operational and organizational skills.
She holds certifications in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
