Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Promotes Taylor Elwell to Executive Director of Clinic Services

Clinton, MO. –  (October 16, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to announce the promotion of Taylor Elwell to Executive Director of Clinic Services.

Effective November 1, 2025, Elwell will continue to lead operational and performance improvement activities for services within the Outpatient Treatment Center, including specialty outpatient clinics and wound care. Additionally, he will oversee all clinical services at the physician clinics in Clinton, located at the Medical Plaza and East Campus, as well as the Osceola, Warsaw and Windsor Clinics.

As Executive Director of Clinic Services, Elwell is responsible for the strategic growth, operational management and financial performance of GVMH’s medical group and provider practices. His role includes overseeing daily operations across multiple sites, implementing best practices in care delivery, enhancing provider satisfaction and driving performance improvement, patient access and clinical quality across the organization.

Elwell will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, administrative staff and executive leadership to ensure GVMH’s provider network is aligned with system-wide goals.

Elwell brings more than a decade of experience at GVMH. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Therapy and Specialty Services, leading teams across specialty care, therapy, cardiopulmonary rehab and pre-hospital emergency services. He has overseen operations at the Outpatient Treatment Center, including specialty outpatient clinics, wound care and vascular access, and has been instrumental in regulatory alignment and service growth across multiple departments.

His leadership contributed to the opening of the Therapy Services facilities in Clinton and Warsaw, expanding community access to physical, occupational, speech and pediatric therapy. Elwell also enhanced GVMH’s ambulance services, improving efficiency and patient outcomes.

Elwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Truman State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University.

In addition to his professional achievements, Elwell is actively engaged in civic leadership. He currently serves as the Mayor of Leeton, Missouri, and volunteers as a board member for the Johnson County Economic Development Corporation, the Whiteman Area Leadership Council, and as a counselor for The American Legion Boys State of Missouri.
