Clinton, MO – (April 3, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has renamed its Walk-In Clinic the Same Day Care Clinic and now allows patients to schedule online appointments specifically for same-day care, making it easier to get care when it is needed.
The Same Day Care Clinic continues to operate at the same locations, with the same hours, providers and services. The new name and online scheduling option are intended to improve access and help patients better understand how to receive nonemergency care.
Patients seeking care at the Same Day Care Clinic now have three options: they can schedule a same-day appointment online at GVMH.org, call 660.890.7300 or walk in at the nearest GVMH location.
The Same Day Care Clinic treats nonemergency health concerns such as minor illnesses and injuries, infections and fevers, skin conditions and general health needs.
“This is about making access clearer and more convenient for patients,” said Taylor Elwell, Executive Director of Clinic Services at GVMH. “It is the same clinic with the same providers and locations. The difference is that patients can now schedule a same-day appointment online or choose the option that works best for them.”
Patients experiencing severe or life-threatening conditions should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
